(a) All images were captured using 20x objective. 5 μm thick sections were mounted on microscope slides and incubated with polyclonal anti-PHH3. Significant increase in PHH3 expression was observed in the lungs of CS animals suggesting increased mitotic activity. PJ supplementation prevented CS-induced PHH3 expression. (B) All images were captured using 20x objective. 5 μm thick sections were mounted on microscope slides and incubated with rabbit polyclonal HIF-1α antibodies. Significant HIF-1α expression was observed in CS when compared to control, and PJ supplementation prevented CS-induced HIF-1α expression.
