NS1 of influenza A/Shantou/602/06 (H3N2) induces nucleolar stress in host cells. A549 cells grown in 6-well plates were mock-transfected or transfected with NS1 for 36 h. (A) Cell lysates were immunoblotted with anti-p53 antibody and anti-Flag antibody. β-Actin was served as a loading control. RT-qPCR analysis of pre-45S rRNA (B) and p21 (C) in mock-transfected or NS1-transfected A549 cells.
