P60002 overexpressed three genes implicated in fluconazole resistance relative to SC5314: UPC2, CDR11 and QDR1. (b) Ectopic expression of the P60002 alleles of CDR11 and QDR1 in SC5314 increased transcript levels to a similar extent to those present in P60002. (c) Analysis of drug resistance in SC5314 strains ectopically expressing P60002 alleles of CDR11 or QDR1. Cells were plated onto YPD and allowed to grow in the presence of a 25 µg fluconazole disc.
