Behavioral responses from the southern house mosquito in a dual-choice olfactometer. The left hand/arm of the subject were covered (not shown) to serve as blank control, and the right hand/arm were uncovered to serve as a human source. After the gloves were tightly connected to the arms and sealed with Parafilm, two independently controlled lines of compressed air passed through the gloves and were connected to the decision arms of the olfactometer through the stimulus delivery pipettes.
