Expression of A1S_0092, A1S_1708, csuA, paaK, and ompA/motB in A. baumannii ATCC 17978 and the clinical isolates AB030, LAC-4, and AB031. Expression was determined using qRT-PCR, and 16S rRNA was used as the housekeeping control. Data shown are the relative levels of expression of each gene at 28°C versus 37°C for the respective isolate and are representative of at least two biological replicates. The csuA and paaK genes were not detected in AB030 and AB031, respectively. The paaK gene was found to be absent in AB031, which was was confirmed using the endpoint PCR as well as analysis of the genome sequence. *, P < 0.05.
