Pigmented blastema at 40 days post‐amputation in Bolitoglossa ramosi. The regenerative epithelium (RE) is thickened with multiple layers. The differentiating dermis shows an accumulation of abundant mature collagen fibers (C) and the limb blastema contains undifferentiated proliferating cells.
