Supplemental Figure S5

Tissue sections show rapid progressive cyst formation in Six2crePkd1 knock-out (KO) kidneys. Hematoxylin and eosin–stained sections of control (A–C) and Six2crePkd1KO (D–F) kidneys show that Six2crePkd1KO have few dilated tubules at embryonic day (E)15.5 (A versus D), develop cysts that are widespread at P1 (B versus E), and have many larger cysts replacing all of the parenchyma by P5 (C versus F). Scale bar = 100 μm.
