Thermography. (A): Thermographic data were analyzed according to core wound temperature (small square gates centered on wounds) and overall Leg temperature (larger square gates). (B): A significant effect of time was detected for all groups (p < .0001). By 6 weeks, the difference between core wound and surrounding leg temperature is nearly zero, that is, temperature of the wound bed has normalized. There was a significant decrease of temperature variation in wounds treated with mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) embedded gels and injected MSCs at Week 6. Data are displayed as mean (SE). Week 0 data was collected on day 1 after wounding, prior to treatment application.
