The oxidative stress status of the cells is improved by resveratrol (RES). RES suppressed the H2O2-induced elevation of MDA and reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, yet improved the H2O2-induced decrease in antioxidant enzyme [SOD, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX)] levels.
