The arrow in (b) points to the portal vein which appears as a bright spot. The right column (c, f, i) shows how motion artifacts appear in the transverse plane for another subject. Streak and motion artifacts in (i) obscure the portal vein. In (f) streak artifacts are reduced by the tornado filter and in (c) motion correction further enhances the contrast between the portal vein and surrounding tissue.
