Apart from ${\overline{P}}_{in}$, the vessels’ properties and pressure boundary conditions were their reference values (Table 1). In the subendocardial network, MVI has a significant effect on the flow under both myogenic and myogenic + shear activations. These effects of MVI are smaller in the subepicardial network. The four curves in each subplot are under the following regulation conditions: (*) only myogenic; (⋄) myogenic and shear; (o) myogenic, shear, and full metabolic (all F_mterm = 1.0); and (Δ) passive conditions.
