PD98059 suppresses sulfuretin-induced protection against MPP⁺. SH-SY5Y cells were pretreated with or without PD98059 (10 μM) for 2 h, followed by treatment with or without sulfuretin (40 μM) for 2 h, and exposed to MPP⁺ (1 mM) for 24 h. (A) Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. Values are presented relative to control as mean percentage change ± S.D. (n = 3). (B) Protein levels of p-ERK, ERK, p-Akt, Akt, p-GSK3β, GSK3β, and GAPDH were determined by Western blot analysis. Representative blots and their densitometric quantification are shown.
