  1. MDM were treated with 5 μM ETO for 18 h, 3 μg/ml cGAMP and 10 ng/ml IFN‐β for 18 h. RNA was isolated and qPCR performed for selected genes using TaqMan assays. Expression levels of target genes were normalized to GAPDH (n = 3, mean ± s.e.m.; *P‐value ≤ 0.05; (ns) non‐significant, paired t‐test).
  2. MDM were treated with 5 μM ETO or cGAMP for 18 h or 100 ng/ml LPS for 2 h. Cells were stained and analysed for IRF3 translocation (green) into the nucleus (blue). Scale bars: 10 μm.
