The τi in neurons and astrocytes under normal conditions (mean ± SD). Representative τi's (colored columns) were derived via Eq. [4], which involved all 8- and 16-total-average IRSE measurements acquired 15–45 min under perfusion (see also Supporting Fig. S1). The neuron database includes a total of 12 measurements (nmeasurement = 12) from 3 batches of cells (npup = 6) while the astrocyte database includes 21 measurements (nmeasurement = 21) from 6 batches of cells (npup = 12). There is a significant difference (**** for P < 0.0001) between the neuronal and astrocytic τi's.
