Vero cells were pre-incubated with the fluorescent H2DCFDA probe and exposed to increasing concentration of R -BNZ (50 and 100 μg/mL) or BNZ-nps (10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 μg/mL). Fluorescence was evaluated at 15 min (A), 30 min (B) and 60 min (C) of incubation. PMA was used as a positive control. *p <0.05, **p <0.001 and ***p <0.0001 respect to the untreated control.
