The average velocity was calculated from the same data set used in the trajectory shown in Figure 6 and the histogram displayed in Supplemental Figure S7. In total, six movements from independent roots and experiments per genotype were subjected to calculation of average velocity. Tracks indicate the movement of the nucleus at 1-min intervals. Average velocities ± sd are displayed.
