CS-TMZ-FLA-NP significantly resulted in a higher deposition of TMZ in lung tissues (approximately 7.5 μg/g of lung) compared to TMZ and CS-TMZ-NP. There was continuous improvement in TMZ deposition from CS-TMZ-FLA-NP over the time period indicating that FA surface modification facilitated the accumulation of drug in lung tissues.
