Effect of 6-MITC’s 8μM treatment on p53 protein expression level in Jurkat cells. Cells were treated for 24h (A), 48h (B) and 72h (C) with 6-MITC 8μM. Cell lysates were immunoblotted with anti-p53 antibodies as reported in Methods. Results of scanning densitometry analysis performed on three independent autoradiographs are presented. Relative amounts, presented as means ± SEM, were normalized to the intensity of β-tubulin and represented as fold increase vs control. Data were analysed using the t-test for paired data. ^*p<0.05 vs control.
