The chordoma cells were transfected with pcDNA-MEG3 to elevate MEG3 expression in chordoma cells. qPCR validated that MEG3 expression is significantly up-regulated in chordoma cells (A), and its down-stream targets P53 and Bcl2 were also changed (B, C). Cell cycle analysis showed the chordoma cells were retained in the G1/G0 phase with MEG3 over-expression. (D, E) EdU staining of the chordoma cells showed the decreased proliferation rate in MEG3 over-expression group.(* represents for P value < 0.05, and ** represents for P value < 0.01).
