GAPDH was used as reference gene. The results are log-transformed and are expressed as arbitrary units. A trend to an increase in the expression of the myofibroblast marker and the matrix proteins in e-CAF-treated groups was observed, with significant differences in αSMA expression between untreated and 200 μg/mL e-CAF groups. ^∗p ≤ 0.05.
