Proposed CRUISE respiratory gating algorithm in a simplified CMRA acquisition, consisting of four k‐space segments (S1–4). The CRUISE approach results in a gradually diminishing motion range as more expiratory positions are obtained and added to the sorted list. If the re‐measured iNAV position is below the gating threshold, as in the last cardiac cycle, the k‐space segment is ignored.
