In vivo efficacy of soraphen A. (A) Soraphen A-treated 4T1-luc cells were injected i.v. into the tail vein of Balb/c mice. Dissemination of the cells to the lungs was monitored after 4 days using the IVIS instrument (Caliper). (B) Tumour growth was assessed by using the Huh7 xenograft model. Huh7 cells were injected into the flank of 8-week old SCID mice. After tumours had developed, mice were daily treated i.p. with 40 mg kg⁻¹ soraphen A for 9 days. Left: Total weight of soraphen and control-treated SCID mice over time. Right: Tumour growth was measured by evaluating tumour volume over time.
