(A) No significant differences were observed in the mean levels of IL-13 as measured by ELISA in BAL fluid obtained from naive (n = 8) or OVA-challenged α-SMA−HAS2⁺ mice (n = 6) compared with α-SMA−HAS2⁻ mice (n = 6 for both naive and OVA-challenged; P > 0.05). IL-13 was significantly elevated in OVA-challenged α-SMA−HAS2⁺ mice compared with naive α-SMA−HAS2⁺ mice (*P < 0.05).
