Typhimurium lawn as a function of L-rhamnose concentration on LB agar plates supplemented with variable L-rhamnose (0.025–10 mM) and 0.2 mM 2,2′-dipyridyl. 2,2′-Dipyridyl addition was necessary for maximum S. Typhimurium inhibition by MccH47 (see Methods and Figure S2).
