The GDNF, CNTF, or NGF mRNA level was analyzed by RT-PCR in astrocytes at 24 or 48 h after transfection of Kir4.1 siRNA. The mRNA and protein levels are expressed as the ratio to GAPDH mRNA and β-actin protein, respectively. Each point represents the mean ± SEM of 5–6 separate experiments.
