Effect of bergenin on production of LPS-induced pro-inflammatory cytokine in macrophages. (A) RAW264.7 cells and peritoneal macrophages isolated from mice were incubated with bergenin (1, 3, 10, 30 μM) for 24 h, and viability was determined by MTT assay. (B) Peritoneal macrophages and RAW264.7 cells were treated with bergenin (3, 10, 30 μM) in the presence of LPS (1 μg/mL) for 24 h. The mRNA expressions of IL-6 and TNF-α were determined by Q-PCR assay. (C) Protein levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the culture medium were determined by ELISA.
