Reperfusion-induced ventricular arrhythmias (including ventricular tachycardia and fibrillation, at left) in the absence and presence (right panel) of conjugated equine estrogen (Premarin). Reperfusion was initiated in both panels at the arrows in the top row (ECG). Note the immediate onset of ventricular tachycardia followed by fibrillation in the absence of estrogen.
