Ecto-nucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase activity of L. infatum isolates. Ecto-Nucleotidase activity of L. infantum strains LVHSE09, LVHSE17, LVHSE23, and LVHSE49 grown until stationary phase. Promastigotes (1 × 108) were incubated for 1 h at 37°C with ATP, ADP, or AMP, and enzymatic activity was evaluated by measuring inorganic phosphate (Pi) in the extracellular medium. Bars represent the mean ± SD of three independent experiments performed in triplicate.
