Osteoclast precursors were cultured with M-CSF and sRANKL in the absence or presence of sudachitin (Sud., 10 μM) for the indicated durations. After culturing, total RNA was prepared and subjected to quantitative real-time PCR to determine the mRNA expression levels of c-fos, nfatc1, acp5, ctsk, Dcstamp, Ocstamp and Atp6v0d2. The values represent the mean ± SD (n = 3). *P < 0.05 vs. culture in the absence of sudachitin at each timepoint.
