Resolution of residual retinal detachment after surgical subretinal fibrin removeal in a 48-year-old patient with severe fibrinous central serous chorioretinopathy. (A) SD-OCT showed persistence of subretinal material preventing complete retinal reattachment 3months after initiation of oral spironolactone, which prompted to perform vitrectomy with retinotomy and internal removal of a subretinal fibrin clot. (B) SD-OCT showed disappearance of the subretinal deposit and complete macular reattachment 1 month after the procedure (arrow).
