Taxol® resistance increases the mRNA expression of Twist in MCF-7/Taxol® cells. Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction was performed to measure the mRNA expression level of Twist in MCF-7 cells and in four types of Taxol®-resistant cells. Compared with MCF-7 cells, mRNA expression of Twist was significantly upregulated in Taxol®-resistant cells. *P<0.05 and **P<0.01 vs. MCF-7 cells.
