Gleditsia saponin C treatment inhibits in vivo tumor xenograft growth in a subcutaneous tumor model in nude mice. (A) A549 cells were injected subcutaneously into the dorsal flanks of athymic nude mice. When tumors reached a size of approximately 50 mm³, mice were orally treated with GSC at the dosage of 10, 20, 40 mg/kg every 2 day for 21 days. The representative pictures of tumor tissues were also shown. (B) At the end of in vivo study, the tumors were excised from each group and weighed.
