Morphological changes of bone marrow in (A-D) groups A, B, C1 and D1. Following hematoxylin-eosin staining, samples were observed under a light microscope and images were captured at ×400 magnification. Poorer hyperplasia was observed in group B and D1 as indicated by the increase in number of fat granules, lower hematopoietic cell ratio and fewer marrow megakaryocytes.
