For each sample are given: sampling date and location (MC, Long-Term Ecological Research station MareChiara; BD, Baia Domizia; G, Gaiola; L, Licola; P, Pozzuoli; S, River Sarno mouth; TdG, Torre del Greco; for geographic locations of sampling sites, see Figure 1), number of genotyped strains (N), number of multilocus genotypes (MLG), genotypic richness based on MLG (R=(MLG−1)/(N−1)), number of alleles over all loci (Na), observed (Ho) and non-biased expected (Hnb) heterozygosity, fixation index (fis) and association index over all loci (ISA). Significance values for FIS and ISA are as follows: *P<0.05; **P<0.01; ***P<0.001. na= not applicable, Ho, Hnb, fis and ISA were calculated excluding all but one replicate of each MLG per sample. Sum or average values for the different periods are marked in bold.
