A) In a subset of 45 subjects who also participated in a hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp, there was an interaction effect between diagnosis and genotype. Steady-state FFA levels were higher during hyperinsulinemia in AD APOE4 non-carriers compared to ND APOE4 non-carriers, indicating of insulin resistance.
