Mice were injected subcutaneously with E0771-Her2 cells and tumors allowed to grow for 14 days, at which time they were approximately 50-70 mm2 in size. Mice were then either left untreated or received ACTIV therapy. Tumors were taken from cohorts of mice at various time points after therapy, as listed, and H&E-stained sections prepared. Representative fields from multiple sections of three tumors of the tumor periphery are presented, together with areas representative of the least necrotic or most necrotic regions. Arrows indicate examples of infiltrating leukocytes. Scale bar = 100 μm.
