Effects of Caveolin-1 (Cav-1) overexpression on SW480 cell invasion. The Transwell assay was used to determine the invasive capacity of SW480/pcDNA3.1 (control) and SW480/Cav-1 cells. (A) Cells were cultured for 24 h and subsequently fixed by 95% alcohol for 30 min, stained with hematoxylin, and microscopically examined at high magnification (200× objective).
