Effects of MEK inhibitor PD98059 on promotion of glucose uptake and adiponectin secretion by DHM in DEX‐treated adipocytes. Differentiated 3T3‐L1 adipocytes were pre‐treated with PD98059 (10 μM) for 1 hr and then co‐incubated with DHM (1, 3 or 10 μM) for 2 hrs before addition of DEX (1 μM) and incubation for another 16 hrs. A Glucose uptake was determined using a fluorescence microplate reader. B Adiponectin secretion was detected by ELISA.
