Interactions between hand use, grip type, and handle orientation. (a) One dimension was found with in both AIP and F5 showing a significant interaction between hand use and grip type, showing an interaction strictly after movement onset. (b) One dimension was found in both AIP and F5 showing a significant interaction between hand use and orientation. In both cases, the interaction showed a clustering of mirror-symmetric conditions (body-centric), as illustrated by the handle cartoons for the most extreme orientations. However, while this interaction was present in AIP only during late movement, it was present in F5 already starting from late cue.
