BALB/c mice were infected with T. cruzi and supplemented with L-arginine or not in the drinking water, and treated or not with 1400W by IP inoculation. Parasitemia, survival and clinical score were monitored and nitrites were determined in plasma by the Griess method. (A) Parasitemia was determined by the Brener method.
