Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are induced from stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells by packed red blood cell supernatant. Packed red blood cells were exposed to control media (Ctl) or packed red blood cell supernatant after 1 day or 42 days of storage (D1 or D42), with leukoreduction (LR) or without leukoreduction (NLR) ± anti-CD3 stimulation. Compiled data from 10 independent experiments expressed as mean ± SEM. *p < 0.05 versus Ctl + anti-CD3 group.
