Bactericidal activity of various sera. (A) N. meningitidis serogroup C (Strain C11); (B) N. meningitidis serogroup B (Strain CU385/83); (C) N. meningitidis serogroup A (Strain 499/03). Bactericidal titers are expressed as mean ± SEM (8 mice each group) of the reciprocal value of the greatest sera dilution leading to ≥50% of killing. Statistical significant were determinate by an ANOVA by Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn’s multiple comparison post-test in Fig. 6A and labelled with letters. Groups MenC-PhaC presented superior IgG levels than group MenC-NadA-PhaC, MenC-NadA-His6 and MenC-TD with a, b (p < 0.01) and c (p < 0.001).
