(A, B) Effects of vitexin treatment on the Rh-123 accumulation in HCT-116DR cells. Cells were pre-incubated in the presence or absence of vitexin for 24 h at 37°C, followed by incubation with Rh-123 for another 30 mins at 37°C. Accumulation of Rh-123 was measured by fluorescence microscopy. (C) Effects of vitexin treatment on ATPase activity in HCT-116DR cells. (D) Cells were treated with vitexin at the indicated concentrations, and total cell lysates were immunoblotted with the MDR1 antibody. Data represent the mean ± SD of three independent experiments (n = 3). Values with different letters (a-d) denote significant difference from one another (p < 0.05).
