E-S-FLU virus requires NPC1 receptor expression for infection of HeLa cells. FACS plots of wild-type HeLa cells and two clones of NPC1 KO HeLa cells (ex2 NPC1-KO and ex4 NPC1-KO) infected with undiluted E-S-FLU and H5-S-FLU viruses.
