N1-7D3 does not protect against lethal infection with H1N1 and H5N1 viruses. Nine mice per group were treated with 100 μg of N1-7D3 (black circles) or an IgG1 isotype control (white squares) via the i.p. route. Twenty-four hours later, the mice were challenged intranasally with 4 LD₅₀ of either Sing/86, NC/99, Bris/07, Bel/09, or NIBRG-14 and monitored for survival. Mice that had lost ≥25% of their original body weight were sacrificed. Survival was assessed using the log rank test.
