^aα(V) and β(V) describe the transition rates (ms⁻¹) between the closed and open states, r₁ and r₂ describe the transition rates between the open and inactivated states, and r₃(V) and r₄ describe the transition rates between the inactivated and closed states. α(V), β(V), and r₃(V) are voltage-dependent, whereas r₁, r₂, and r₄ are voltage-independent. Maximum conductance was reestimated to be 758 nS.
