In vitro culture of equine crypts. The in vitro isolation, growth and maintenance of enteroids derived from equine intestinal crypts are shown. On day of collection (Day 0, panel A), crypts maintain their morphological appearance. Enterospheres first develop (Day 1, panel B) and progressively enlarge to form complex structures with a pseudolumen and crypt like structures (Day 3, panel C; Day 5, panel D). Scale Bar 100 μm.
