Effect of protease inhibitors on matrix degradation by Z-Mɸ. Z-Mɸ were plated on Cy3-gelatin–coated slides in the presence of aprotinin (Apr; 10 μg/ml), BB-94 (5 μM), e64 (10 μM), or all three inhibitors together (protease inhibitors mix, PI mix).
