Variables were subjected to backwards elimination using an alpha cutoff of 0.1 for inclusion into the multivariable model. The same 484 patients did not have information on their census tract’s income or education, only one of these variables could be included in the multivariable model, but neither were significant on backwards elimination for inclusion in this multivariable model.
