1 A: OKAY So tell me (.) <what is the thing> you are having the hardest time understanding right now
2 P: I'm just concerned that I'm not going be able to hear↑

4 P: =That's my biggest concern
5 A: Okay can I tell you >that I'm not worried about that<
6 P: But why >what if I just happen to be one in a million< Either they think it's terrible and it's not or they don't and it turns out to be something terrible.
7 A: Yeah so what you are experiencing right now is good↑ and I'm kind of basing my judgment on °how you did with your° hearing aid before we implanted you
8 P: Oh I love my hearing aids I just=
9 A: =Yeah and the fact that you can hear and the fact that you can understand speech with the right side even a little bit (.) even though it wasn't good (.) just a little bit, that tells me that it <has> potential
